Darrell found a book today in Waterstones which was devoted to “zany” place names. I winced but not as much when I realised the top one was on the street six paces from my door. I live on Oakworth Road but the street just opposite is indeed *snigger* Back Fanny Street. Oh and it is that one in the book, Darrell checked. So infamy at last. Or is that “in-fanny”?
